Happy Monday, everyone! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
My weekend started off with a Saturday morning drive to Opelika, Alabama to visit with my best friend and to meet her 2-week old baby girl, Kate! Molly and I had a wonderful day together. We went out to lunch at Chicken Salad Chick to celebrate her upcoming birthday! (Sidetone – If you have not ventured to Chicken Salad Chick then you need to do so ASAP. They have locations all over the South East.) After lunch we ventured over to Target to pick-up some items, and then headed back to the house to love on Kate and watch the SEC Championship. I left Opelika to make the drive back to Atlanta at the start of the 4th Quarter and listened to the rest of the game on the radio with Eli Gold!
Mentioning, SEC Championship. Can I get a ROLL TIDE?!? The Crimson Tide has been SEC Champions 24 times! I just love my alma mater!
Now we are onto the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans to play Urban Meyer’s Ohio State Buckeyes. I can’t wait to see the Tide roll on January 1st! It really is the most wonderful time of the year!
Sunday morning my parents and I got down all the Christmas boxes and started to get everything ready for the Christmas season! We spent most of the morning and afternoon decorating.
Last night I headed down to InterContinental Buckhead for a Christmas party with 1500 singles from all over the Atlanta area. Before heading to the hotel a couple of girls from my bible study met up for pizza and wine at Buckhead Pizza. Delicious! The party was underway by the time we got all checked-in. We had a huge dance floor, tons of desserts, and a fantastic band! Santa was even there! All in all, it was a pretty fantastic night spent with my bible study girls!
