In the South, we’ve truly mastered the art of porching. We believe if the kitchen is the heart of our house, the porch is its soul. Sitting on the porch is an invitation for conversation. So, I invite you to join me on my virtual front porch to stop, sit a spell, and take a load off.

This is what I’ve been up to since July…
Travel: August is typically when I start back with intense traveling with work after a summer hiatus. Unfortunately, this year I am tied to my computer with Zoom meetings instead. Despite this crazy time, my parents and I were able to slip away for two weeks to Gulf Shores to get some much needed R&R away from home.

Reading: I have been a serious book worm this year. In the past three months, I think I have tackled 11 books across multiple genres. Below are my top three since July.
Watching: This year has been the year of binge-watching. I have been able to rewatch some favorites and discover some new shows. I am currently watching Away on Netflix, and I just watched the new Enola Sherlock (Netflix) movie this weekend and absolutely loved it!
Wearing: At the beach this September, I absolutely LOVED this bathing suit! It came highly recommended by a friend, and I wish I had grabbed it sooner in the summer.
I also am really excited to start busting out my fall clothes! I love a good chunky knit sweater and fedora, and I can’t wait to live in this one this season.
Loving: I’m currently obsessed with Dr. Tea’s Body Oil. I discovered this while at the beach, y’all my skin feels so soft! This item is definitely going to become a staple in my beauty routine this fall and winter to help combat dull skin. I also am loving Maybelline’s SuperStay Matte Lipstick in Revolutionary. It’s the perfect transition color to fall, in my opinion.
Eating/Drinking: Fall equals all things pumpkin. I’m really enjoying Chai Pumpkin Spice Tea Lattes right now. I love that I discovered these bags recently so I can make it at home any time I want!
